Twice a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up and physical exam.  This is important even if vaccinations are not due.  

Our Client Coordinator will get your appointment started the moment you come in.  A Veterinary Nurse/Technician will begin your visit by getting any historical information, problems or concerns you may have for your pet.  The Nurse/Technician will get your pet's vitals and collect any necessary lab samples.  Your pet's appointment will include a full physical exam, wellness lab testing, necessary vaccinations, refill of supplies and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.  If your pet is visiting due to an illness or medical condition, the Nurse/Technician will discuss with you what to expect from the physical exam, recommended testing, treatment, etc.  A treatment plan can be created for you based on your pet's condition and treatment needed.  Dr. Timothy Hodge will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre for service.

Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think will be important.  Dr. Hodge can still work with whatever information you have. 

In some circumstances, Dr. Hodge will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.  We have a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon on staff for more advanced or specialty procedures if needed.
