With the holiday season right around the corner, we decided to focus today's Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre blog on our pet boarding options. We understand that when you are traveling away from Tampa that you don't want to have to worry about how your pet will be taken care of: You want to know that your pet is safe, cared for, and gets plenty of attention and interaction. Our veterinarian, Dr. Timothy D. Hodge, and our entire staff work together to make sure that your pet gets the best of care here at our veterinary hospital during those times that you need to use the pet boarding option.

Our Tampa Veterinarian Really Cares!

Our animal hospital staff and veterinarian truly care about the welfare of your pet, because we all work in this field thanks to our love of animals. The living quarters for pets who board here are more than sufficient to allow them to move around and to be comfortable, but they will not spend all their time confined. We exercise all of our pet boarding guests with walks three times each day. It's not just about the exercise, though -- it's about having fun too!

We schedule plenty of playtime for your pet. We know that playing with a favorite toy can really help, so we encourage our pet parents to bring their pet's toys so that they feel more at home during their stay here. If your pet is accustomed to sleeping with a certain pillow, blanket, or other bedding, please feel free to bring that as well -- the more comfortable that your pet is, the better we feel we have done our jobs. These pieces of home can help us to ensure your pet feels happy.

We are happy to have pet guests who are up to date on vaccinations come to stay with us at any time. If you need to make sure your pet is up to date, just give us a call and we will be happy to check! Pet boarding pick up and drop offs are always done during our standard business hours.
